Fred, now Ruger, is finally enjoying life now that he’s been adopted into a home with amazing parents that are teaching him the world isn’t as scary as it seems, and a live in bestie that’s showing him anything is pawsible with a friend by your side Ruger was terrified of life when he came to Swamp Haven, the only thing that helped bring him out of his shell was having another dog around. We knew his ideal home needed a furry friend to help show him the ropes, a family that not only loved him for the scardey cat he was, but that had the patience to help him learn and grow as he adjusted to yet another new environment. Fast forward a few weeks and we’re getting pictures and videos of a boy that we don’t even recognize - in the best possible way. Ruger has come so far in a matter of weeks and we are so excited for the full life he has ahead of him! His family says Ruger is the best decision they’ve ever made and we are just so happy that we could be a part of his journey to forever.
