Become a Foster

Foster homes are crucial in helping us learn about each of our dog's individual needs, and helps them to learn the basic tools needed to thrive in their future forever homes - which might include helping them learn basic training, learning do's and don't of home life, leash training, and potty training. Fosters might be asked to take their foster dog to and from vet appointments, but all scheduling will be based around your availability so this can be as convenient as possible! When you foster with us, we provide any and everything you could possibly need and then some! We are looking for short term and long term fosters, and are always in need! Drop us an application, and we'll be in touch.
Please note: We pull our dogs from rural shelters, many of which would be euthanized otherwise due to lack of medical funding or simply for space. We cannot guarantee that your foster dog will be crate trained or potty trained, that is what Swamp is here for, to help these dogs decompress and learn what the good life is all about. We are looking for fosters who are willing to help us save lives by being a part of a dogs journey to forever. We promise it will be one of the most rewarding experiences, filled with lots of puppy love.
