Harold
Harold went to his foster home where we learned how awesome and affection he was, but we also learned how much he struggled with change and how much stress being alone brought him. He excelled at all his training and loved to learn. He met tons of dogs, people and kids, he was not the timid dog we picked up from the shelter at all anymore, but actually a social butterfly! But Harold still struggled being left alone and would panic and hurt himself. Luckily he had the most awesome foster family ever who saw the good dog Harold is and was very patient and dedicated to helping him overcome his fears.
Fast forward to now, where Harold, affectionally Harry Barry, successfully weaseled his way into his foster families hearts and decide he wasn’t going anywhere!
Harry has made a ton of progress with his separation anxiety, progress he would not have ever made without the dedication of his family. He has a family who loves him for all his feelings, and his “emotional support dog brother” who is there to snuggle and sunbath with.
We could not be more happy for Harry Barry and his family. Harold was once one of many dogs that got lost in the overwhelming amounts of dogs sitting at the shelters for months, and now he is the star of someone’s world.
Happy forever Harold, we are so proud of how far you’ve come, and we truly think it was all just meant to be.
