Baldwin

What better way to end a tough year than to announce another little secret we’ve been keeping… a true Christmas miracle, if you will. Everyone’s favorite bald boy is OFFICIALLY AND FINALLY HOME Things have been quiet on the Baldwin front because he is the most special, wonderful boy with specific needs and we didn’t want to jinx what seemed too good to be true. Little did we know that just as much as Baldy needed his new family, they needed him too and the second he stepped foot in that front door, we should have known we weren’t getting him back! He’s grown leaps and bounds in the month he’s been home, and so has his hair!! Guess he just needed some heavy duty TLC, and what mom and dad call “operation fatten up”, from his forever people to truly thrive. He helps mom work from home as he provides ambient snores to keep her motivated, presents them with a toy, forever party ear, and his adorable butt for welcome home scratches, gets to enjoy wilderness hikes, and huffs at them from the bedroom when it’s time for bed like the creature of habit he is

This is an especially emotional one for us as it seemed like his time would never come. We first met Baldwin at the shelter in November of 2021 and we couldn’t get his handsome, goofy face off our minds. He became a Swampie in January of 2022 and now, just shy of his year anniversary with us, we can finally say “welcome home, B”. You deserve it more than we can say, and more than most people can begin to know. We cannot describe just how happy this makes us, how much it fills our hearts with joy, and how much we needed this win. Here’s to 2023 and all the good things that lie ahead with nothing but Baldwin’s good juju leading the way!
