Ink and Barley Fundraiser
We are beyond words. We spent Friday night surrounded by new friends and old at @inkandbarley to celebrate the very best boy’s birthday, and help raise money for the rest of the Swampies in our care. It was a wonderful whirlwind of a night and we are just so lucky. Because of YOU GUYS, we were gifted $5660 and our hearts are so. damn. full!!! Literally bursting at the seams!!!
Thank you to all the local businesses who donated toward the raffle baskets that helped raise these incredible funds, to everyone that got tattooed, to all the amazing tattoo artists that donated their time, talent, and tips toward our cause, and every single person that came to show their support! We saw so many familiar faces (almost all of our fosters came because they’re amazing ) and met so many new ones, your support means the world to us. We have big news to share soon and this money will help more than you know!
A very, very special thank you to the heart and soul behind this event. We’ve known this crew for a few years now and have felt their support in every way. This isn’t the first fundraiser @jennaboyter has done for us, and we truly don’t know what we did to deserve her love and support. She’s made us cry a lot, in the best way. She and her awesome husband (and mastermind behind the bar) @jrodboy86 adopted our very own Hunky last year and we love them even more because of it. @erinsheppard88 has known us from the start, before Swamp Haven was even something we could dream about. She’s the sweetest ever and continued to prove it (as if we needed more proof) by spending countless hours putting these raffle baskets together and keeping this event running smoothly. Not pictured but a huge thank you to the newest addition to our wonderful family @pnewb, who manned the ticket table and probably had major back pain the next day. She is a social media mastermind and is always eager to get to know our rescues one on one by taking them out for the day so we can learn more about them! All these words and there still aren’t enough to describe just how grateful we are for our tribe. We are in awe of your support.
