Toad
WARNING - If you look at these pictures too long you may cry out of sheer heartache of the adorableness that is our newest Swampie. Friends, meet Toad.
Recently we got a call from a police officer friend of ours late at night, asking for some advice on a puppy that she acquired on her patrol. When she sent us a picture of this squatty little wobbly baby body in the middle of a parking lot let us tell you how many seconds it took for our advice to end up being BRING HIM TO US! Toad got to have his first overnight patrol before coming straight to us and then to our vet.
Toad is estimated 6-7 weeks old, seems healthy, and is a whole 5lbs. Toad may be tiny, but he tries to do all the big dog things. He tries his best to run on his baby legs, tackle the largest toys he can, and your toes are no match for this sassy boys wrestling moves. Toad’s foster says he is a little spitfire, and we can already see a huge personality in his tiny brave body.
Toad still has some time before he can start his puppy shots and be available for adoption, but stay tuned for updates and watch our stories for more cuteness, if you think your heart can take it.
