Stevie Nicks
When Stevie’s “family” moved they left her behind on the property. The new owners moved in and found her there and were kind enough to take her to the shelter. She was heartbroken and scared, and the shelter noted she needed time to warm up. We went to pull two other dogs the day we accidently met Stevie, we had no room or plan for her, but we kept coming back to her kennel and her timid pleading eyes. We took a chance, and she rode shotgun the whole way to freedom.
Stevie truly adjusted in no time. She loved to be loved and she loved to play with other dogs, and she thrived with both. Stevie’s wiggley personality would light up a room, and It didn’t take long for Stevie to catch the eye of her forever mom, the person who wouldn’t ever leave her behind again.
The day Stevie went to her forever home there was a welcome home cake waiting for her, and it was just the beginning of how spoiled she is. (Even when Stevie decides she needs to do a little house redecorating) Now not only does she never have to worry about being lost again, she gets to be a ride or die bestie to her mom. She goes on adventures with mom all the time, has a slew of doggy best friends, and rides with the top down, ears in the breeze. We couldn’t ask for more. Happy forever Stevie.
