Theodore

Theodore, now Chance, has found his forever.

The more we got to know Chance the more we realized that his outwardly goofy, playful, sweet personality was also shadowed by many fears. Men, cars, and being left alone being the big ones. His foster mom took him in planning to go slow and give him the time he needed for his heart to heal. Soon a dog that would keep himself off to the side lines at events was going out of his way to say hi to everyone. He was napping happily when his mom would leave to go to the store, and as he put on much needed weight and his body healed from his past neglect we got to watch Chance’s heart do to the same.

This new version of Chance practically glowed, he was so confident and happy. As time went by and shockingly adopters did not come for Chance, his foster mom realized that it wasn’t just Chance’s heart that was healing and growing, hers was too, and Chance was a big part of the why for that, and so one day it was decided Chance was going to stay.

Happy forever Chance and Tammy. Sometimes dogs come into our lives with the most magical timing, and help us as much as we help them. We are so happy for you both, and the special connection you share.

OH AND an added bonus, his brother Otis (was Alvin) just so happened to get adopted just a street away, and they have play dates all the time. Now tell me that isn’t some Swampie magic right there.
