Elvira
From a long, hard life on the streets to finally having family to call her own, Elvira is finally HOME. This sweet frosted pup was found as a stray back in July of 2021, has been a Swampie since September of 2021, and has been looking for a place to call home ever since. Not one single person inquired about her. She was in an amazing foster home that spoiled her rotten and taught her what human compassion is all about, but we did question when it would finally be her much deserved turn. Then her mom reached out - she’d been looking at rescues across Florida and she took one look at Elle and that was it. She loved her from the very first second and the rest was history. This snaggle-toothed babe used to shy away from touch, never wagged her tail, never hopped on her foster’s couch in all the months she was there and now she’s rolling over for belly rubs, hops up on the couch for nap time, and is her new mom’s BFF. There are no words to describe just how incredibly happy we are for the mean muggin’ grandma, we will never love a pouty mouth quite like yours! Happy forever, sweet girl.
