Tempeh

When we got Tempeh he had a worm belly so big our vet was worried he had fluid on his stomach, but nope, just worms. His skin was a patchy, scabby mess from being riddled with fleas, but it just took a little TLC and in no time Tempeh was feeling great.

Where his sister Tofu is small, sassy and brave, Tempeh is large, shy and gentle. Tempeh was very unsure of the world initially, but he has gotten so much braver, and foster mom said he is even finding his bark when his foster cat friends aren’t paying him any attention.

Tempeh wants to be right where his friends are, whether that’s playing with a fellow pup or following his person around. He follows and is so attentive we joke he has almost accidentally taught himself to heel! Tempeh grumbles and coos at you with little gentle gremlin noises to say “hello! Hi!” When he sees you and he is also an expert at showing off his perfect and patient sit for treats.

Tempeh is around five months old and 29lbs. He is dog and cat friendly, doing great in his crate training, and otherwise learning all the puppy things! To adopt Tempeh, well you know what to do! Contact us!
