Missy and Lenny
Meet Missy and Lennon! Their story is not the usual one for us, but a very personal one.
Missy and Lennon were found wandering a high traffic road and taken to a humane society where they were adopted out together to an adoring elderly couple. A few months later they were returned as their humans’ health took a turn for the worse. This revolving door of change and loss continued to happen time and time again before finally settling down in 2023 with my Grandma. The last few years have been filled with endless snuggles, countless treats, and the unconditional companionship that every animal deserves. A few weeks before Christmas my family got some news that is never easy to hear, and I barely had the words out of my mouth before Tori was whole heartedly agreeing that “of COURSE” we had to help rehome the cutest bonded pair ever. So with that, welcome to Swamp Haven, littles!
Missy and Lenny have taken this change in stride, with a resilience and grace that we feel lucky to even witness. We don’t deserve dogs, y’all! Of course being cute as HECK doesn’t hurt because that means the treats and cuddles have really never stopped These two have enough charm to fill a room, enough clothes to need a closet, and more than enough love to give!
We are looking to place them together in the final home of their dreams, where they never have to wonder when the other show will drop and just bask in the love of a forever family. Lennon is roughly 8-9 years old and 12 pounds while Missy is between 5-6 and weighs a whopping 10 pounds. We call them “the littles” for a reason!!
