Vince
Vince has been doing his doggone best and is learning all the things in his foster home! We only know a small tidbit of Vince’s past, but we know that it was not the best one, and it is apparent in how often he flinches or hunkers down at loud noises or other spooky things we are still discovering. What Vinny may lack in confidence he makes up for by having one of the biggest hearts we have had the privilege to snuggle. Vinny is all tail wags, and even when he is nervous he still wags and leans into his people for guidance.
Vinny loves other dogs, and in fact lights up when he sees them, even in a shy moment he will pop right up when he sees another dog to follow their lead and play. We cannot begin to express how grateful we are to the foster family who is working every day to show Vince how good life is going to be for him from here on out - even if that means sitting in front of the dryer with treats so that Vince can learn the dryer isn’t scary.
Vince is a stocky 60lbs and 3 years old. He has a wonderful wigglebutt, and the smooshiest cuddles. He will need an adopter to be compassionate with him as he continues to build his confidence, but he has otherwise been a very easy dog to have around. He is potty trained, easy going energy, happy in or out of his crate, and has recently picked up a love for all kinds of fruits and veggies foster mom lets him try.
