Meet Lady Jillian

Female, Large, Adult

About Me

Lady Jillian, Jill for short, is one special lady. Jillian was found as a stray with another dog. It is strongly suspected she was used for breeding a multitude of times, and shortly after she came to animal control signs of extreme infection began to show, and she was rushed to get an emergency spay surgery. This poor lady has been through it, but we were immediatly drawn to her kind dispostion and her gentle, soulful eyes. Jill has been nothing but sweet. Her foster says she can be left unattended for hours without incident in the house, and aside from the occassional zooms, she is as cool as a cucumber. When she goes to our vet we were told she was their “best patient that day.” Jill loves squeaky toys and loves to be where the people are at. Jill has done well with the cats she has met so far. While she is interested in other dogs, and has gone on walks and to the vet with another low key dog, she prefers to not share the spot light in her home.  She is currenlty undergoing treatment for heartworms, but is available to foster to adopt. Jill is 3-4 years old.
