Female, Medium, Senior
Elvira is waiting for a family to go batty over her. She was found wondering the streets in a rural city back in July and has been waiting for her chance at forever ever since. One look at that white, fuzzy face and we knew we had to be the ones to help her. She’s adapted to Swampie life effortlessly, though it’s obvious that she hasn’t had much human interaction in her 12-13 years. She is a little hesitant to be touched at first but once she understands that you’ll respect her space, she’ll plant herself right at your feets for some lovins’.
She is thriving at daycare and does great with other dogs socially, but is looking to either be the only dog in her forever home or to share her space with an older, equally independent pup who will respect her boundaries. Like most grandmas, Elvira is set in her ways and believes it her way or the highway. She is crate and potty trained, can be left alone unattended for hours, loves to sunbathe and roll around on the grass or carpet, whichever comes first! This old lady stole our hearts and we know she’ll steal yours too.
